I had mine up to 80, never felt the need to push it past that. Maybe someday. Dale

118
I know the post said Spyder RT, buy had to chime in. 118 on a straight down hill section of I-65 in Kentucky. Think she might have went a little faster, the the wife was slapping my back to slow down!

A little over 90 while passing. I started to see my angle in the rear view so time to slow down.....

119MPH
I had Cocaine up to 119MPH. No wind on a flat section of the highway. I have a shorty windshield and I was hiding behind that. That was in 6th gear. Someone said that you can go faster in 5th gear as opposed to 6th. I haven't tried that out yet.

^^ The wind thing is pretty important for these things, blowing enough or the wrong way & it's like you've got all the washing hanging out behind, no chance of getting a true top speed out of it!

The other pleasure was the fact that the fuel was much less expensive, about $1.27 or so vs. $2.50. That was awesome.
I could drive almost twice as fast and fuel was almost 1/2 price.

ER - UM - I lived in Canada for while - they sell gas by the liter up there. So $1.27 per liter works out to $4.81 per gallon

Reading all these posts I have to ask why? We have done some interstate only when we have to. So 65 is the fastest we have had ours. Life is way toooo short to worry about how fast we can go. We ride 2 up all the time, as we have had our midlife crisis we are going to enjoy life as much as we can for as long as we can. As a first responder you get to see exactly how short life can be. Be safe everyone

Do all RT's come with a windshield.? The size of the windshield could make a 10 mph difference
