Default Anybody secured a Tank Bag to an F3? How?

When I first purchased my F3, I wanted to install the tank bag I had on my Sportster. Unfortunately, the bag attaches magnetically to a metal tank and obviously this won't work. I assume if I do some disassembly, I can run nylon straps under there, somewhere, and make it work. Anybody done this?

There comes a time in life when you really want to stay in the wind, but single-track vehicles are no longer a practical or safe solution. The Can AM Spyder is a wonderful answer to a difficult situation.

My opinion.... Sell yours and get one designed for the model you have. Those magnets may damage the finish on the F3 if not now in time. Nelson riggs has some bags that will probably work or maybe Kuryakyn or BRP....

    Here's mine...

Both side panels must be removed, and the strap goes under the gas tank....
I've since changed the bag to an all-black bag, however installation is the same...

Or perhaps I could just remove the magnets? I love the bag and it would be a perfect fit if I could successfully anchor it. I think that the following post is the path I would choose. It is, in fact, made by Kuryakyn. Thanks for your reply.

Motech has bags that mount to the fuel ring:
