Belt Vibration Damper
I sure want to thank Doc for his fast service. I purchased his belt vibration damper. Ordered it late Wednesday afternoon it must have been shipped that day I received it Friday morning. It is really simple to install. It took me about one hour had no problem at all. I have had this 2015 Spyder RT for 4 months. It had 10,000 miles on it, now 16,250 miles. It had only been ridden 600 miles in the last year. It had vibration and did not handle well. I removed the front tires and had them balanced. None of the tires had correct air pressure. No air in the rear air bag. Belt was to tie and not aligned. After getting the belt right, tires balanced and correct air pressure it rode great. I did not feel hardly any vibration but I had read so much about belt vibration I decided to purchase Doc’s vibration damper. After installing it I took a ride today about 125 miles. At first I did not see much different but when I got on the interstate and got up to about 70 miles per hour I could start to feel it was smoother. I like to run around 70 and that is where it feels smoother. I did run it to 90 and it was still smooth. I have added several things on the bike but the two best things was the belt vibration damper and magic mirrors. I do all my own service and the mirrors seem to have to be removed for about anything you do on the bike. For people that have everything done would not appreciate them like people that do their own service. Again I want to thank Doc and Kathy for their fast service and a great product.

Isn't it amazing how a simple device such as the vibration dampener makes riding a real joy?? I couldn't believe how much smoother the ride was after installing one from Doc. Actually took me a couple of rides to realize the vibration from the belt was gone.

Yeah, having shipped LOTS of stuff, Doc, all sorts of influences take place. If you ship from the US on a Thursday so it hits the LA centre on Friday evening, it often reaches Aussie customs on Sunday and is then despatched first thing on a Monday morning and can hit my front door (sometimes literally) on Tuesday afternoon. Other times they go via Japan or some other strange route. The best time using USPS Express has been 5 days. The worst using USPS Express is 14 days.
