Another water pump issue
2016 F3-T SM6 - water pump failure before break-in service. I have read a good handful of posts here of other newer F3s facing the same issue. Instead of a new dashboard cluster I think BRP should focus on the basics. Also, dealer does not carry the part in stock (feels like they never have anything in stock) so has to be ordered which is 3 - 5 days, so vehicle is in the shop now. Very frustrating.

Never heard this one on a 1330. Had some on the older engine.

Interesting....🤔
Have not seen much on the water pumps going out on the new engines. May have missed it but if I did it must have been an off day. Water leaks are tricky and come from some basic places...hoses with loose clamps, cracked resiviour tanks, radiator cap installed wrong and of course the waterpump seal. Hope the diagnosis is correct and it solves the problem. But you are right on the stocking of parts...I find outside sources are better stocked unfortunately the dealers don't go there for parts.....

Our seal went out on the water pump last year on our '14RT. Causes an oil leak. About the only thing that goes bad on these 1330's though.

My 2015 F3S water pump needed replacing around 2k miles. Back then I had to wait 9 weeks for the replacement part to come in since the F3 was so new. There have been some others reported as well. But its does not seem to be a huge number by any means.
