I typically do not like taller windshields, and the stock one works good for me. But I wanted something taller for the winter months.
I think that one looks a little different from the Show Chrome. Mainly the width at the mounting brackets looks much wider on the Chrome one. I have one on order, so I guess I'll find out!

I believe you are correct. Mine actually appears to be the exact same width and height of a guy that I met in Maggie Valley. He had the F4 on his. I actually like the shape of the Show Chrome one a little better. I would be interested in getting width and height of the one that you have on order. If the quality is anything like the one that they sell for the RT, I think you will be happy.

Here are a couple of pics. It seems good quality with the usual warnings about using abrasive cleaners on plastic. I think it looks pretty good. D50967D1-16C7-4B3D-B2EE-4E989EC3FA23.jpg6B2C6694-4A3B-4153-A4BF-321D4123596B.jpg

I have been thinking about getting this windshield and agree it looks good on your bike.
I mounted the tall boy but still get a lot of wind in and around my helmet and hope to lessen that with this windshield.
Its difficult to tell in your pics, how big is the gap between the dash and front of the windshield compared to the factory short windshield?

It’s 12” longer than the stock windshield. I’m 5’ 11” and I look right over the top.

I really like the looks of that. What is the actual length of the windshield from top to bottom in the longest direction?

    Default f4

I am the same size as Don ( 6' 1") and I have 23" windshield on the same bike as his video. Everything he says in video is true. One thing I might add is the vent is almost a must have ,open it half way and pushes the air up over your helmet.

That’s interesting, Paul. I have the 25” (set on the Madstad adjustable brackets for a little more height after I got my raised Daylong seat), and I find absolutely no difference whether the vent is open or closed. I wonder if there is actually a physical difference in the setups or if it just comes down to personal perceptions?

RNBOB I believe if you call Don at F4 Customs they can trim the windshield to your specs.
