Default Oil blowing out of fill spout

Anyone have this issue ? Not a lot, cap was on tight. This seemed to occur quite a while after my oil change (800 + miles). Wasn't over filled. Dealer will be checking it. (2016)

I had a similar problem and I thought that the dipstick was screwed on tight - it wasn't.

Possible bad O ring? If it's an F3, there have been a few.

It was tight, has happened more than once. Also had someone else check it after me to be safe.
Hadn't heard about the F 3 issue, that's what I was thinking but it seemed too simple.

Default Over filled by a couple of ounces

Happens under hard acceleration. Suck out about 6 ounces and see what happens.

Are you suggesting under filling ?

You could be over filled. Make sure you follow the exact steps for checking engine oil. If not done correctly, you will get a false reading which will make you think the oil level is low when it actually is full.

It's a pain but I'm going by their exact procedure to check oil level. Have not added any oil, dealer did the last service.

There is no guarantee all the technicians at a dealership are up to date on the engine oil capacity of the 1330 engine. I know for a fact -- 1/2 qt overfilled at my 28K service.
