    Default Differences between 2015, 2016 & 2017 RTL's

Looking to buy my 1st Spyder. I've found some new left over RTL 2015's and 2016's but wanted to know what the differences are, if any, between the 3 years 2015, 2016 & 2017.
    thanks in advance,
    john

    Default Differences

Only difference I know of is that in 2017 they offered a later model Garmin GPS. Also, not as easy as just swapping out the heads. The mount and harness are different as well. Lots of work/expense to upgrade. Newer model is 590 offered on 2017. 660 is standard on 2015 & 2016.

Thanks for the responses. Anything different with the auto clutch or brakes or anything mechanical?

Wasn't there a change to the final gearing in there somewhere, brought about by the change from the tubular rear swing arm to the rectangular rear swing arm (so the OE Tow Hitch would fit?!) & the associated change to the RT's rear sprocket?? Or did all the NA LTD's (US/Can spec Spyders) have the rectangular rear swing arm & RT rear sprocket from the models' inception?? I thought you North Americans scored a change that the rest of the world (AU/EU spec models) avoided cos we got the RT rear sprocket on all the F3 Ltd's anyway??

On the 15 you have to wait for the message to come up before you can start and in 16 you no longer have to wait. Just hit the Mode and start

Hello, the 2015 rtl was equipped with the 590. 2016 was 660 because of 590 shortage. I own a 2015rtl.
