    Exclamation Split Coolant expansion tank

Had a coolant leak and went to OHG (UK Can-Am dealer) for them to investigate it
It turned out to be a split in the expansion bottle, they have fitted a new one
I knew they had a problem with some on the earlier models but mine is a 2015 RT and I did not expect it to happen
I have just under 13,000 miles on it
Thanks to all at OHG for fitting me in at short notice as I did not know where the leak was coming from and although it was only showing as a small amount ( See Photos) I did not want to chance using the Spyder in case it got worse or caused a major problem

Posted in case others have a similar leak

    Default Good to know...

Glad they got you fixed up so quickly. They were an issue some time ago on the 998 engines but I was not aware it is a problem now. Something to watch. What coolant are you using for that is a very strange color. I thought they were using a red coolant now but that looks rust red....
