U fit
Wondering if brp will ever design a U Fit footboard system for the RT'S. as nice a system as it is for the F-3's one would think they could do something similar for the RT ryders.

Prior to 2014 I had the seals on both my RT's. They worked fine and still going on the 2011. The 2010 got traded off on the 2014.
The OEM floorboards are very satisfactory on the 2014--including the downward angle--which I thought I would dislike. They are big enough for me to move around to get comfortable from time to time.
Seal is the way to go if you are looking--and about half the price of the OEM add on variety. I see you have a 2012 SM5 RT. I think he now has an app for that.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

The Seals are a great product, but they don't work on the RT if you have loooong legs unless you put your feet right up on the front angle and are prepared to learn to brake with your heel. I wasn't. Unfortunately, they don't work on the F3-L either if you have loooooong legs, as they are setup for position 3 and the same "brake with your heel" approach is needed. This is NOT a criticism of Seal, as they are a great product, but they don't work well for tall riders like a couple of the other aftermarket products.
If there had been a Ufit option on the RT it is quite possible I would have bought one.

Good information. I have a 26" inseam--so long legs are not a problem for me.

yeah, i'm 6'3", 34" inseam, 250 lbs. feel like an elephant on a tricycle sometimes. I've installed nbv pegs last year, and had the seat modified moving me back a couple inches. feet just need to go down and forward some. was about to order a set of boards that moved feet down a couple inches but found they had been discontinued, figures.
