    Default FRONT SHOCK ANGLE ADJUSTERS

Let me say from the outset .... These are ...NOT FOR SALE .... I just finished a re-design of S.A. A. that I had done a few years ago for the " Y " Frame on years 08 thru 12 .... the earlier ones were very difficult to make .... these are simpler ... I believe it will do exactly the same thing it did for My 2014 RT ( I have made the ONLY angle adjusters for the new 1330 frame ) I showed these to some BRP engineers and they were quite impressed ( at least they said they were ).... anyway I wanted to keep the same ground clearance as the OEM specs are ... I figured out how this could be accomplished. I made them with 1/8 " flat bar stock so they are incredibly strong ..... after about 50 attempts I finally got the top of the adjuster to LOCK into the OEM frame ... this prevents any movement of the SAA brackets ...the OEM frame still supports the entire force of the suspension, both on compression and re-bound. I left the Shock at the lowest setting for pre - loading the shock, which means the Springs are FULL length, which guarantee's an OEM ride .... but much firmer ( about 20% ). I know this works because it's very similar to what I have on my RT ... Remember when Lenny ( of Pitbull ) had those aluminum shock adjusters for the 08 to 12 frames ... His only moved the shock 1/2 inch and people were beating down His door for them and Raving about what s difference it made ........( you should be sitting for this ) my adjusters move the space from OEM - " FOUR inches ", and the stock ground clearance remains OEM. I only have one side done, because the two brackets must be different how they lock into the frame ..... and YES - I - Do - Have PICS .... I just have to get them from my Smart phone to the Forum ..... well that's it , I'm now going to treat myself to a Dark Rum and Root-beer ..... Mike

Better watch that Root Beer. I heard that it's not all that good for the brain cells.

    Default Interesting. ...

Will waiting for the pictures add years to my life..?? I do have the pitbull relocators and they did make a difference. Trick is to change things one at a time. I did the sway bar....then the locators...then the shocks and they all made noticeable differnces in the handling. I can imagine yours will be impressive, but will wait for the test ryde. After all I have family from the "Show me " state....

Mike, I think you're going to have to download to a computer first, adjust the image a little, then upload it here. There are other ways to do it, but that's the most reliable.

I, along with a lot of others, don't have access to a BRP Anniversary Book and therefore don't get to see the pictures!

When I have pictures in my phone and I want to post them, I just go to the Gallery of photos and message them to my email address. They show up in my email right away.
