Are the replacements suggested in the above posts exact replacements or stronger? Since adding the driver backrest, my seat strut is a little weak, and sometimes falls while refueling.

I just installed it. Definitely stronger than stock.

got the amizon one yesterday and better then stock, keeps the seat up even with the drive backrest and at 14 bucks

the one that is on the bike is a 20 lbs and the one that is sg359011 is 40 lbs

BRP comfort seat. added garage opener with rocker switch in center console to match other switches. And I have added Elka stage 2 shocks.

Just replaced my seat shock with 4418 shock. Bought at Napa. $35.00. Works very well. Bruce
