Fender amber leds
Looking for some help with my new fender amber LEDS.
I have a 2013 RT. I am in the middle of changing out the amber deflectors with LEDS on the front fenders.
I bought the LEDS from big bike. The wiring is hooked up as instructed. The blinkers are working fine but I cant seem to get the running lights on them to work.
All the connection are fine.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

Do they have the blinker function?
I added this kit to my 2013 ST-LTD, they did not blink, just solid on marker lights. If there are only two wires going to the LED (with no little circuit board) then they are marker lights, and need to get connected to a marker light wire to be ON all the time. How about a link to the specific LED kit?

There are 3 wires, RED, BLUE and Black, going to the LEDS. ! is going to the mirror blinker the others are going to the head light. The ones going to the head lights should be the running lights.
I tried looking for any videos could not find any.
Thanks

I only use mine as running lights, hook to the two wires in the fender. Not sure why you are running the wires to the headlights. Must be a different connection. Check your connection, maybe one is not making contact!

If you add that many more blinkers: you're also going to be adding resistors to the system. You WILL start experiencing hyperflash!

How can I correct hyperflash from happening?
Would you happen to know how to solve the problem with the running lights not working?
Thanks

The instructions said to run the BLUE and Black wires to the headlight. I guess to have them work as running lights. Yes check all connections.
Thanks

The connection should be to the fender tip light not the Headlights.

While I don't know about your set, but the wires should be as follows. Positive and ground to fender light, and another to the blinker.

I assume RED is marker. Just to test, add BLUE to red connection, get brighter? (could be other way around for colors). Just want to verify you can get two levels out of LEDs.

I did think about making that connection with the blue wire today. Going to try it see how it works.
Thanks

Will try that.

Wire
The blue is the running light and the red is the turn signal. You can tap the blue wire into any wire that is hot when the key is on.

Got it all together LEDS are working fine.

Add 4.8ohm 50watt resistors to each turn signal. But not in series, take one side of the resistor and attach it to the positive wire going to (say) the left turn signal. And the other side of the resistor too ground. Now do the same for the right turn signal.
Now here's an important part, these resistors are going to get very hot, you are almost making a short circuit through them, so they have to be attached to metal on the bike. I used pipe clamps around the frame to hold them on

Where can I purchase these resisters?

DigiKey is a good place.

This is a generated quick link to a 100W resistor for $7. Has a hole, so maybe you can find a place to mount. Just don't run the turn signals / hazards a long time

There was a discussion a few months ago regarding resetting your flashers. I had hyper flash when I did mine. I believe I turned the flashers off and on three times , turned off removed key waited a few minutes. Turned power back on and mine reset and never returned. Not sure of the actual process, but you can do a search and try it. I think it was Fromm Lamont. Good luck !

Sorry, been on the road for two days, 1150 miles since yesterday morning. Just home from the Norcal rally.
Yes, the resistors can be purchased from Digikey, or any electronic supply store. i got mine from a local shop in my home town.
I reset the hyperflash the way Lamonster does it in his video several times, but it would only last a short while, and then the hyperflash would come back. The resistors fixed it permanently.
