Default Cleaning brake dust the lazy way.

On a recent trip (2,000 miles), my brakes started squealing. All 3 sets. I have a 2008 GS SE5.
What I want to do is spray the rotors, pads and calipers (on the MC) and power rinse at a local car wash.
Any recommendations. Simple Green scares me....

    Thanks,
    Tntherapy

PS-checked the pads and rotors, all are well within spec.

shouldn't hurt the brakes at all using a power washer, no more so than riding through a large puddle or rainstorm. If you have access to an air compressor, you could blow out the brakes too - just don't breathe in the dust.

Brake cleaner is another alternative. I think it smells better than Simple Green.

100 psi air pressure should clear out all the brake dust!!!!! My brakes squeal a little, but only under hard braking.

Put your hearing aids in your pocket when your riding and the squealing won't bother you.

have some one standing in a parking lot , or empty street , enough room so you can roll by them and apply the brakes , do this at least 3 times !

Use a car wash pressure washer on mine about every other day when we are on vacation. Spray the wheel cleaner on it, wash the bike, then hose the brakes down with the high pressure rinse, all brake noise goes away.
Never had any problems with brakes or braking other than a squeal as brake dust builds up.
