Me, Adzgrrrl, and her husband took a trip from Huntsville AL to the Rattlesnake Saloon. Great fun and great Ride! The Rattlesnake Saloon is an interesting place, it's build under a big rock (Pic 1). The interior decor can best be described as "Rustic-Threatening" (Pic 2). Adzgrrrl wasn't very hungry, and ordered a small lunch plate (Pic 3). At the end, we weren't too tired to pose for the camera to look cool (Pic 4)...from left to right Me (in green shirt), Adzgrrrl, and her husband.
Its great to meet new people and have new adventures!
Interesting place with crazy portions.. must have been a fun ryde..thanks for giving us a glimpse....
I forgot to mention that just before the turnoff for the Saloon, there was a giant road-kill rattler in the road. (no Pic of that guy). It was true laugh-out-loud moment
Tell me some more about the food: was that the appetizer plate?
I think so Bob, not sure. I walked back inside from stretching my legs and "that" was on the table. I think Adzgrrrl's front trunk exceeded weight limits with the leftovers on the ride back, and it will probably smell like assorted fried foods for a couple of weeks.

HankD, did any of y'all try the burgers? That John Wayne or Duke burger was fantastic when we went.
Guess what I had for dinner last night??? Three guesses and the first two don't count. LOL. LEFTOVERS! The air fryer spruced everything right up. YUM. Even the dogs enjoyed a couple bites (since they didn't get to go on the ride with us)
Bob, on top of "the rock" there is a horse riding farm with rental horses and overnight facilities (called The Seven Springs Lodge I think). They have old grain silos that they converted into hotel rooms . So you can ryde and then ride, if you butt can handle it.
North Alabama Spyder: I got one of the burgers on a previous visit, it was really good. It was too hot on Sunday for me to eat that much, so I just got a cold sandwich.
