    Default RT622 Trailer brakes...?

Just a curious question.... Has anyone installed brakes on their trailer? If so, what was involved and what were the results? I haven't felt the need for trailer brakes but maybe they could be an asset.

400 trailer, 40 tongue. I guess if you stay within that, then brakes could be a big asset .....to blowing off your money.

all kidding aside. It just doesn't seem reasonable. stay safe

I have only logged less than 1,000 miles on my 622 and at times pretty close to the capacity, but I never thought that I needed trailer braking.

I have pulled it on very technical Eastern mountainous roads in Ohio, PA, and WV., with scary switchbacks and hairpins with a lot of hard braking and not once did I have a negative reaction that would make me consider the trailer brakes, but each to their own I guess.

We have pulled our trailer fully loaded all over Eastern USA including a SS1000 in May of this year and have never noticed it back there except for backing up.

Not really needed. The Spyder brakes work pretty well as I have run two up and a trailer.
