    Default RS touring windshield

I just purchased the ultra touring windshield to use on the RS for longer trips
i didn't even realize it came with air vents like other big cruisers
I probably won't mount them... does anyone know if they are required to support the jig barn sized shield ?
from a quick glance at the directions they seem completely independent

planning on just using the shield for longer multi day trips and keeping the shorty for style because let's be honest, I would rather look good 😊

Are you talking about the black looking vents that mounts on the side of the bike?

Wind/rain deflectors. They tend to encourage exhaust backdraft smells. Removed mine.

    Yes the black vents
ok sounds like they are a separate element
and will not be installed 👍

I remove mine during hot weather and install them in cold weather. You will get a little exhaust fumes, but the wind deflection is great and helps keep you warm.
