Default Has any body use brp's full synthetic oil in your bike.

Checking oil, I notice that the oil was black and dirty thiswas after 4000 miles, I change the oil every 4000 miles and the oil is blackand dirty. I would like to put in brp's full synthetic oil; I hope that thisoil would not brake down so fast. I was using the brp's synthetic blend oil. Hasany body use brp's full synthetic oil in your bike.

    Default Interesting. ...🤔

I have used XPS blend since the RS was new. 2012 RS Sm5 and change every 4 to 4500 miles and never came out black and dirty. I'm sure there are those using the full synthetic many use the amsoil synthetic. Can't say how their oil looks after 4000 miles but most oils start breaking down around then. I would thing the Se models are tougher on the oil...

Default Used BRP's full synthetic yellow bottle on our 11 RT SM5

Changed the oil and filters on the 4500 mile interval if I recall and had good ryding on that 998 Twin for over 76,000 miles 'til we traded for a 15 RT.
Kept a part full bottle in the side bag to add when needed since the high revvin twin tended to use about a half quart between changes...YMMV

I have been told by several people that the blend is the oil to use. The reason being that the full is actually too slick, and the clutches can suffer for that reason. Anybody else heard this?

    Just sayin'............
Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.
The roads in NY are so bad that I am glad we bought a Ryker Rally

    Just sayin'............

Not true. Clutch will do just fine with either oil.

The only true way to know how your oil is doing is to have it analyzed. I did one on our 2012 RTL and the BRP blend was worn out at 4,600 miles. Will do one on the 10W40 Amsoil on the F3L at 9,000 miles.
