If you don't have the free app...spydercodes...get it. You are having a sensor issue possible disconnected so it would seem your system thinks your overheating. The app will give you testing values if you wish to do the work. Just to be sure check your coolant level ...

Are you still looking for this? Of course, keep it simple first. Unplug the thing and spray it down with contact cleaner just to rule out a bad connection. And keep in mind that changing it will cause some loss of coolant. If you have a digital ohm meter and want to take readings, here's the table. Mind the C and F columns. If the sensor shows good, then look for a harness problem. Almost forgot - if your temperature indication reads normal, then the sensor is OK. Check for sticking relay R4.
