I wouldn't mind taking one for a short spin... just so that I will appreciate the Spyders even more!

I would think/hope that Can Am adopts a similar system since this is the trend in motorcycles. Like the H-D Boom! and the new Indian system.

I would agree with this. I can't believe this didn't happen 2 years ago. BRP seems to be lacking in these creature comfort accessories compared to other bikes in a similar price range.

I always wanted to see an infotainment system on the Spyder. This could signal a change in the future of the Spyder?

    Default Really...🤔

more things to take your eyes off the road... Seems the only difference in the models is a fatter tire and a bigger radio... Like Bob said it make for a nice little sports car.....

What you didn't see the accessories yet?? You can get a rear fender now.. That lotus is pretty sharp too.

"No truer words have ever been spoken". Linda & I got the coupon some weeks ago. Today we had the opportunity to go take a test drive. We went thru the usual preliminaries, left our helmets behind, and jumped into their demo SL. Once out on the local " back roads", the first words out of Linda's mouth are: "this is really noisy". Not only did the engine noise get my attention; but the belt whine and buckboard ride left a lot to be desired. The one thing that it had in spades was get up and go, which can be both a good and bad feature. We parked the demo back at the shop, spent our $20.00 gift card, and hoped back on our RTL for the ride home. Marveling all the way how nice the ride was. We were amazed that the salesman said that the Spyder market was "soft" because of the Slingshot. Not buying it

It's good to see and hear that they are working on improving some of the ergos. Several shots of that butt ugly rear end though. That is one of my "no SS" arguments.

We saw the black one again on Turnagin Arm last weekend. We exchanged waves. Sadly, going opposite directions at 55 + mph. I would like to talk with the owner. They still are not selling them in AK that I can find.

We did 465 miles this last weekend and are now ahead of last summers riding miles. I still like my 's even though I was on the Vulcan for that particular ride.

; but I'm not sure how what Polaris does affects BRP??? I do think they should get on the same playing field as the H-D Ultras and GL1800s. I really miss the completely integrated AM/FM/CB/XM infotainment system on my "09 GL1800 Leval 2 based trike.

Perhaps alike as they now have the same parent company.

I have a CVO with Boom!. Very complex but very powerful. Took a long time to get comfortable with it to make less distraction going down the road. I am told that CB radios have run their course and keep getting more expensive install in an integrated system. The multi-brand group (about 80 members) use CBs a lot.

To each their own. I was able to choose my rides; others should be able to do the same. If i chose to buy a convertible or open top, it will have 4 wheels and an air conditioner.

I rented one for a day in Maggie Valley. It was a blast. Cornering is dead on with a lot of power. Loved it. When the day was over I got back on my RT. Thinking about adding a Slingshot to the stable.

So I have all of that built into my helmet (with the exception of the CB, and I don't want to talk to truckers anyway) with my Sena 20s. Like Chupaca said, I would rather keep my eyes on the road and on the scenery than on the infotainment system!

How many actually look at the Analog gauges on the Spyder?

I seem to focus more on that square screen to look at my speed and if they add something like an infotainment system that has all that built in I am for it..JMO

I see the new 2018 Indian have the Ride Command System on them now too.

    Are the Spyders next??

And a larger trunk like the F3 limited for the RT models?

My infotainment is my phone and my bluetooth helmet setup... No fancy additional screens needed and my eyes never leave the road thanks to voice commands via my phone and BT setup with SENA.

If you have any hip, knee or other issue, the Slingshot might be for you. My buddy has to help me in and out of his. Fun, but never a replacement for my RT IMHO.
