Magic Mirrors affecting analog guages
I would have sworn this has already been discussed, but the search function comes up with nothing. I installed magic mirrors on my RT, and my analog guages are going nuts. Is there a fix for this?
Thanks

there was a thread.
there was a thread not long ago. I think it said to either turn them upside down or switch sides to reverse the magnetic pole.

Some are also only using 2 magnets on the bottom and using the OEM on the top. That seems to solve it also.

Doc,
If you leave the top pegs in place, and still hang your mirrors on them: does everything still line up so that the magnets are getting a nice solid "grab" on the metal plates?
(Are they sitting nice and flat on one-another?)

I tried leaving the top mount on but it was to loose. I could move the top in and out a little. Didn't like that so I put all three in. I have a 15 RTS and gauges are fine. Just got home from a 1500 mile circle tour around lake superior. No problem. The mirrors stay put nicely. BTW it was an Awesome ride.

They hold very good using the 2 in 1 system. As long as the top clip is not broken, they hold position very well.

Well I started simple, flipped over the top magnets on both sides, and my guages are back to normal. I love it when that happens!

I just got back from a 9100 mile month long trip and the magic mirrors held just fine. I was one some pretty bumpy roads at times too.
