Default ST-S Voltmeter & USB Port

    USB Port with a Voltmeter
    Purchased from EBay

Red Dual USB 12V Car Boat Socket Rocker Switch Panel with Voltage Voltmeter

I cut a small rectangular hole in the switch panel of my 2013 STS and installed this USB outlet/voltmeter. Wired into my switched auxiliary fuse block.
Easy to read Voltmeter to monitor the charging system/battery and it provides access to High Amp USB for charging my Sena and Iphone.
So far the meter has sustained several thousand miles of riding, heavy rains and vigorous washings. Works great.

    Default Wiring

Where and how would I wire this. I need a USB port on My ST. Is there an accessories wiring somewhere?

To the best of my knowledge the is no accessory terminal unless you tap into the main fuse block.
I hard wired to the jump start terminals on the left front of the bike.
I added a DIY accessory relay switched by a lead from the unused switch wiring near the parking brake switch.

Just for info the switch next to parking brake switch is for heated grips. At lest on mine that is, & the last spot on the R hand side is pre wired for the fog lights. Unknown what is in the other spot.

    Default Switch right of center

The ST and RT share a common wiring harness.
The switch position right of center is for the rear shock compressor on the RT.
Its not used on the ST although the wiring is there and switched by the ignition on my bike.
I use that socket location for my garage door opener switch with custom wiring. The compressor wire can be used
as a trigger for a relay to power your usb socket. You could also put the USB socket in that location.
