Yes I have see that much and and more. 2011 a big hail storm came through. I was having breakfast downtown when it happened. It piled up about 3 or 4 inches deep. My SUV got $6,500 damage. Paintless dent repair guys did a good job getting all the dents out. Replaced the 3 year old roof on my house. All the plastic vents on the side of the house had to be replaced. Spyder was in the garage. No damage there.

it has been odd weather for sure ... had hail in texas , that was just a rain cloud to start with , temps dropped 30 degrees , did not last long , or stay around long after , heat went right back up !

I've seen worse. In '85, Cheyenne, WY got hit with a monster storm. A supercell stalled right over the city and went steady-state for about three hours. Twelve people died that night from the flash flooding. We got half the annual precipitation in one night.
The next day, there was a picture in the paper of a guy standing on a level patch of hail. Under his feet was a bit of red peeking through the pile of hail. The red was the roof of his car.

Glad I live in Arid-Zone-A. No hail here..... It's been over 110 for the last 11 days. Wait a minute,......maybe I live in hail
