    I agree that Pete's accomplishments on the field are second to none. I can still see him in my mind's eye running at full speed to first base after drawing a walk. But a quote from the past comes to mind - "I am not a crook". We all know how that turned out.

    Thanks for starting this thread Bob, Pete and I went to the same high school in Cincinnati. And I too think he should be in the Hall, look at all the other dopes and druggies they've allowed in there, and they aren't half the ball player Pete was.
