    Crickets.
Must be everyone wants something for nothing, garage sale prices. That usually goes like this ---
something that cost $100 new, still relevant, and good condition, asking $10, and they offer you $2.

If you don't get any action from potential buyers that usually means you are priced a little or in some cases a lot high. Price it right and it will sell. For instance, you are asking $250 plus s/h for a set of used highway pegs. You can buy a new set from Lamonster for $250. Not trying to be a di** or anything but just because you pay top dollar for something doesn't mean you will get top dollar back. Good luck with the sale, you have some nice items.

I think you demonstration above is a little excessive but it is your thoughts.

Since you brought it up, there are a lot of things that make your statement rele.
An old sales proverb states, "The buyer will purchase when THEIR PERCIEVED value meets or exceeds the price."

Therefore if you don't have buyers, you need to work to elevate their sense of the product value, OR lower your price.

I would suggest that you spend some time cleaning and polishing if you want better dollars, frankly most of it looked beat up in the pictures, but that is just my opinion.

I am not trying to be critical or beat you up, in an earlier post you were quite accusatory to others about wanting "garage sale prices" on current equipment. I thought that I would offer insight from what I saw, that was all.

Consider it constructive advise or ignore it, I meant no insult, perhaps the equipment is pristine and the pictures are not indicative of the product. You decide, you are trying to sell it, not me

My comment was joking to bump the thread, although I've had the occasional member here want something and the price already is 2/3 of new, offer me way less claiming hardship and not a lot money. You own a spyder, a toy, if broke, you have the wrong priorities.

You don't come on a sale post claiming someone's stuff looks beat, if something is low use and pics seem off, ask for another pic or question the area on the item in question. You claim its beat with no real evidence of such. If you opened your eyes you'd see the tires are like new with plenty of tread. You need tire shine to see that? And what? The seat has no tears or scuffs in pics and all I can see is a dark area on the side pic from the camera or whatever. I've seen beat wore seats and the stitched spider is dirty wore and faded, mine is full of color, like new.
I'll polish you the dirty pegs, either way, my prices are higher, but if I we're to ask less, the offers would be lower yet and I'd be selling a seat that cost over$1000 shipped with backrest, etc for what?$500 or so? Less then half. How does a seat depreciate that much?

It always boils down to what people will pay & not what you think they should pay, or you will be "bumping" forever.

Sure, but there's always a ton of cheapo shoppers. It's a matter of finding a buyer who recognizes that her wants a corbin seat and over $350 less cost of new is a deal. At least something to make a fair offer on.

Normally used accessories sell for 50% of original price, even in the best of condition. No one will pay 80% of new price and gamble on missing hardware or wear and tear from normal use. You have some nice items and I would love to have the highway pegs but If I'm going to pay that price, I'm going with a new product.

50% of retail is pretty much spot on. Give or take some. Shipping is the killer. Especially the seat. That will cost $100 or more to ship. I have been trying to give away a set of shocks. No one wants to pay the shipping. Good luck selling your stuff. Tom

Any modification needed to fit those highways pegs?

I have to agree with the others... frankly your prices are just too high. A good rule of thumb is 50% what they cost new.
I sold my RT Corbin seat... heated... with the full passenger backrest and arms for $650.... shipped.

These items... just like the Spyder... depreciate the minute you use them.

    Good luck!

Offers on what? How about you amend your original post so it only shows the items you're still trying to sell, instead of making a potential buyer try to figure it out?
