This is like my first bike, same color. A 1993 Nighthawk 750. I would like a modern version. The CB1100 is the closes, but not as good looking as this one.
How about the Spyder RSS or a sport minded Spyder with a non cruiser riding position
Yes please!
Lots of nice bikes being listed. The two strokes would be a blast. But bringing them back might take away some of the original's charm and collectibility, no?
Then again, I'd like to have one of these at "affordable" prices. In my mind, one of the most beautiful sport bikes ever.

... Motorcycles are kind of like Baskin Robbins... You're looking at 31 flavors of ice cream, don't you kind of want to know what they all taste like?...
This was obviously shot in Europe and you still scenes like this over there although you would see more helmets today, but not so much even here in the USA. Back in the day no one wore a helmet unless they were on a race track. In the early 60's I was drag racing at the local track (NHRA rules) and not required to wear a helmet. Life was very different back then.

But the 1983 version was bumped up to 650cc, and had a much broader powerband...
True Bob but I bought this baby out of the crate in 1984 at over 50% off Msrp due to the previous 650 release and the glut of Japanese bikes in the market at that time.
Someone here at work rides one of these. He has a windshield and has added a tour pack behind the seat. He even has velcro oven mitts for when it gets cold.
Here is a picture of it at work. He took the windshield off.

This thing was a torque monster, pumping out 60 bhp at a bit over 2500 rpm. Red line was at 5500 rpm!!
It tore your arms off!!
Here's a pic. of mine: 2009 031.jpg This had a single seat and a full Akrapovic titanium exhaust system that made
V&H pipes on a Harley sound restrained......I could rev it when passing a parking lot and set caralarms off!!
I never owned my next choice...but I should have done! Kawasaki W650. It was an obvious attempt to produce a bike that looked like
an old Brit without the oil leaks! The Fonz would have loved it! W650.jpg
I had one of these for three months. After I had made a one into three throttle cable for it, this bike scared the *carp* out of me
every time I took it out! H1A.jpg It has to be said that it was the worst handling bike I ever rode but I could stand
it on it rear wheel at silly speeds! Wheelies weren't that common to see back then!
Would love to see this bike again...a great 2 stroke enduro bike.
Errr, sorry donrokon, but which bike??
There are quite a few of us who never get to see anything you might put into the 'title' field of any posts in a thread that are made after the first post.... see the quote of your post above - that's ALL we get!!
I'm guessing that you put something into the title field on your post that would make the text above actually meaningful! Sometimes I can guess, but on this one, I've got no idea!
As for me, I reckon that any/all of the 70's & 80's 'K' series Honda CB-4's - I had a CB550/4 & a CB750/4 (K3 & K7?) both of which I'd own again in a flash, if I could find a good one out there! Admittedly, I modded both of mine just a little bit, specifically to suit my particular needs; but they were great bikes to own & ride, altho I sorta doubt that I'd ever try running a CB550 all the way across this country in a hurry during high summer ever again!! The 750, sure thing!

Is that a single cylinder Kawi? It reminds me of my first bike, a Suzuki 650 Savage. One cylinder and lots of vibration.
