    Default OEM Backrest adjustment???

Can the non-adjustable OEM backrest be altered in any way? I find that it pushes me forward more than I would like. Is there anyone who has found a way to maybe, file down, cut, or otherwise alter it to adjust the angle? Or, do I needing to pony up and buy the adjustable backrest bracket....?

    Default Not much to it

There really aren't any moving parts to the stock piece. I don't know of any way you could alter it, but maybe someone with more engineering skill has an idea?

I added the adjustable feature to my stock seat and it was a nice improvement.

Brent also added the adjustable bracket to mine, and it made all of the difference in the World!

Yes, Bob and I tackled his together at Spyderfest, but if you really needed help in Arizona, I could probably schedule some time to ride to Arizona.

Remove the part that captures the backrest forks. There are 4 screws that hold it on. Get some small stainless steel flat washers to fit the screw diameter and use 2 or 3 on each of the back or front screws to angle the part to your satisfaction. It may take a few tries but it works great.
