Letting the dealer install them on Tuesday and also putting on new brakes ECB brakes pads later for the OEM pads.

, I'll be needing tires after this riding season. Since we both have the current front fender design, would like to know how those 185s fit.

I find it interesting some of you are buying different brands of tires. I hope you report how you like them after a few miles. Also, where you got them. My rear OEM lasted 8,000 miles and I will replace it next time with another brand. Thanks

I traded my 2014 RT for a 2017 Mr. White RT-S. I am George Lewis. I live two miles from Boerne, TX. I am 89, retired USAF and Sony Corp. I also have a GW MotorTrike. My email: scoot62@aol.com

I've put those tires on .... they will need to have shims ..... hope your dealer will do that otherwise you may be getting a phone call ---- these tires WON"T FIT ....... you may want to shim the fender brackets before you send it in ..... jmho .... Mike

Mike since he has the new style of fender (same as mine) than yours I do not see them fitting even with shims

OK , then shims / spacers may be needed on the LUGS to bring the wheel/tire out a bit also ...... If there is a will -- there is a way ............ we aren't talking a hugh amount 1/8 to 3/16 inch ...max ........... I think that inner plastic GUARD can be eliminated also if necessary ..... Sometimes you need to think out of the box, within reason. I was told by people here - Using 2 OHM speakers will FRY the radio & or the speakers ....Wrong , 3 years and they are OK ..... jmho ..... Mike,

I agree as you say "There's Always a way".
Knowing that I ended up using washers to shim my fenders out to provide the clearance for my 175's I thinking his dealer is not going to install 185's, but I could be wrong.
