    I have been reading up about them myself. I agree, could be a very cool toy to play with. Good price point for a following drone.

    There is a group on Face Book called 'Flite Test' that does reviews on drones and other flying things that generally stays up to date on the current products. You might check them out.

    As someone who know less about Drones, than Hogs do about the Sabbath: I have to wonder how easy it might be to fly?
    I've got a lot of potential places to pitch a drone into the air: I'm a complete newbie to them, so I'm trying to shop carefully...

    This one can actually be controlled by 3 different methods:
    conventional controller
    A "Mobile Device" (Whatever that is: i assume a smartphone!)
    By hand signals!

    i got email form dji yesterday about the spark, the $500 price is a lead in since you will need the controller that runs a few hundred
    great drone for those who have nothing better to do then selfies & with hand controls would be a lot of fun.
