Default DIY skid pan for GS/RS Spyder

Here is some info and pictures to build it. The plate can be gotten here for a good price.I used Sibe Automation https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...A1FWWCVO9POVQF
I used a jigsaw, drill, and belt sander to put a little bevel on the pan. sp1.jpgsp2.JPGsp3.JPGsp4.jpgsp5.jpgFirst picture is the template, second picture is width of the plate 20 1/4". Third picture is overall length 19 5/8". Forth picture is old plate on the template. The bottom of the old skidplate needs to be 3/8" from the bottom of the template before marking your holes to mount the plate. I used the same 6 bolt pattern from the old skid plate to mount the new skid plate. You can cut it 20 1/4" inch wide and drill your holes. Mount it with all the screws and from that you cut the noise to either fit or do like picture 5 and mark it and remove and cut the noise to your liking.

More pictures.sp6.jpgThis is what the new skid looks compared to the old one. Lot more protection.

They are pretty easy to make. Only thing is the cost to ship these. Big companies pay a flat rate and would probably be twenty to thirty dollars to ship.

Had to do some editing to the post. Had posted the wrong measurements. It is 20 1/4" wide by 19 5/8" tall.
