    Default Newbie... Risers?

I am a newbie to the Spyder family. I just purchased a 2009 RS. I am looking into Handlebar Risers.. does anyone have any suggestions.. Its just a little too much leaning forward for me? I feel like I am pushing the handlebars with all my weight.

I had 4" risers on my 08 and 09 versions. They were custom made by my dealer. No longer available there. You may have to search around for a source.

PS. The BRP 1 1/2" versions were not acceptable for me.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

    Default Risers

The most common " Dog Bone " style sold by Custom Dynamics and others are no longer being made to the best of my knowledge ........ You can get Heli-bar style . @ $ 500.00 + ....... I used snow-mobile risers in 09 made by " RSI ", they are still available @ DENNISKIRK.COM in their sno-mobile catalog .....about $70.00 ...... they will work without modification if you have an SE trans ...... if you have a clutch they will need some Grinding to remove some material for clearance ........ Mike ............ PS, these are extremely strong - better than the Spyder ones .... and look good .......PPS , " hungryeye " posted a Thread about risers on 3-17-17 ...... I posted info for the risers in post #9 with part numbers ( sorry I can't do links ) ........ PPPS .... contact " Warlock " for good info and Pics
