Default what screen works best to stop wind buffeting

    hi everyone
im six foot and a bit and when i actually do sit up straight in the seat i get enough shaking over the helmet to agrivate a neck issue i have.i ride a 2014 rt ltd with the standard not short screen.
i have the standard seat and i use a full face helmet with visor.i just fitted a wunderlich ergo vario 3d wind deflector that clips to the top of the screen.works nicley but the mounting bracket sits in my line of vision as i look a bit over and a bit through the top of the screen.if you drop the screen it stops working well.
ive contacted laminar lip and they dont have one for the rt screen.with the ergo i get arm and air buffet around the back but thats doesnt worry me after all we ride a bike right.
    its mainly the head rattles.
does the larger and wider can am or the other brand screens actually work against the head wind as they are not cheap but if i keep trying other devices i will end up spending more.
the blurb on the screen top deflector sites say a bigger screen wont help, but they have to sell their product i suppose.

    any helps guys.thanks.

I have had a Cal Scientific for a few years and have been very satisfied. It is wider than OEM, the same height, but also has a cutout to reduce back pressure. It is on my RT Special edition right now.

I have the vented Spyder windshield on my 2014 RT-S. I had it on my 2012 RT-L also. It works well no both.

    I agree!
I am 6' 4" and the tall BRP windshield with the vent worked for me!

    Thumbs up Vented windshield

Put in a Goldwing vent ( about 50 bucks) or get a vented shield. The added air in the bubble behind the shield will move the turbulent air up and behind you. It really works.

    Default F4 Customs

if you go with the Plus 3 on your RT you will not have any head buffeting. I am 6'1 and that is what we use on our personal RT and the ride is great.

one of the companies will put a flip on the top edge of their shields.
    that might also help.

    Default Cal Scientific

I have the Cal Scientific, as I have had on 3 previous 2 wheelers, and find it offers great protection and minimal buffeting.

Only because the new Daylong seat lifted me 1.5", Stu, and the 25" is the tallest F4 make. The Madstad brackets gave me a bit more height and adjustability. Great screens.
