You mean "Hooligan Mode"; don't you?

    Owner of a 2017 F3-S here.

Sport mode is over rated. Put it in sport mode a couple times, yeah it lets you get more sideways and doesn't retard the throttle.

***I really don't have too much of an issue getting sideways in default mode either.

To answer your other question. Yeah, they can be reprogrammed, but even if they allowed that to happen, you'd need to buy a new cluster.

Dealers can't make the change. It is factory only. How do I know? My 2017 was a 2016 "yard" model (Inventory) that BRP re-vinned to 2017 as a special dealer pre-build. I bought it last July.

Yeh, I'm not too worried about not having the sport mode. It's in sport mode every time I'm in the saddle.

"Fun-Mode" is much more useful anyway!

I really hope that there will be a way that I can upgrade my F3 with Sport mode. It should just be a computer update where it disables the traction control. I have tried calling Can Am and BRP but all I get is customer service who can't give an answer.
My F3T will spin the rear tire for over 60 feet and it doesn't come with "Spot Mode" either!

If you really like toasting your tires: you can always trade for a newer model!

At the price of tires, I try to stay out of the accelerator, which leaves more money for farkles and trips.
But it's nice to know I can spin tires on pavement if I choose.
