Default F3T OEM Top Case / tail pack with rack pics new for 2016

Purchased the BRP Top Case with integrated back rest, tail rack, speakers and amplifier. There is a light inside the top case that stays on if the bike is running and an indicator on the dash screen that lets you know if the top case is open.
Thought I'd share some pics since this is such a new item.
Fairly pricey farkles but very practical !
The job wasn't easy - took my mechanic about 7 hours but he did great work. I had him put on some floor boards and an X mount as well.
The radio is now either on full blast or mute - i'm guessing I need a software update to accommodate the new amp for the rear speakers and the top case brake lights.

That looks very nice! I take from the fact that you added this, that you have a 2016 F3T. It would appear that the space for the passenger is kind of tight if your passenger would be on the larger side. Also, are those chrome rims off a RT Limited?

When I ride with a passenger I take out the drivers back rest - !
the rims did come off an RT limited :} part of a used sale x2 where the seller wanted to keep his F3T rims so he swapped them from his new RT Limited before shipping me the bike. Lucky me.

    Default Top Case

Thanks for the info. The top case for my new 2016 F3 Limited is on the way. Assembly will be Tuesday. Like you....passenger floorboards too.

This damned laser alignment cost me a ton. Never intended on a new ryde.....

    Hey Rudy -
Wife and I are really enjoying our 16 RT LTD, but still get a tinge of sellers remorse when I see what you have added to my former bike. Looks great, and I am thrilled that you are enjoying the ride.
Blessings to you and hope to meet up some time.

Yes I do - took it off the RT - Two Brothers Racing Carbon Black Series - beautiful and light.
Was an $800 installed add--on, but too loud for this old vet.
Am going to post for sale if I cannot sell locally,

    Default Loud rear speakers

Take a blank thumb drive to the dealer and they will download the software fix then plug into the cord in glovebox follow directions they will print for you.

The tunes sound great after that!😎

If you go on the instsallation instruction website, you can download the file

    http://instructions.brp.com/content/...ion.html#tab=1

search for the parts : 487802104

then, completely at the bottom of the instruction, you will find the file. download it on a USB thumb drive and your good to go.

I haven't try it myself, but it's what they said...
