Loving this vacation! Nothing broken, nothing to fix! Air in tires, oil check, clean off bugs. 😃
Nice not having to work while on vacation huh?

Beautiful countryside, but chilly! Crazy low speed limits! Wet, and forecast wetter! Should be in Valcourt just after lunch. Two tanks of gas - we are there!
odd To not work! I'll bet there will be something to fix there!!

It really is homecoming! We have seen so many people we know! Just great fun! The fellowship is what makes this such a good time! Yes, it rains. Yes, it is chilly. So what! Those who did not make it are missing out! We are loving it!

    Default Leaving

Had to leave. First, had to get new radiators! Did not leave until 2, but made Rochester ny. To make Iowa, we have 800 plus tomorrow!
Banquet last night was great. SpyderAnn met the CEO of BRP! Flamingobabe won the bike show! CEO told her she had a beautiful machine! We had a blast!

On the way home, we have interest in Iowa, and if there is enough to make it make sense, we will be happy to stop in! While there in Valcourt, stop by and say Hi! SpyderAnn loves meeting people! Almost as much as she loves riding her Spyder RTS! By the time we get to the event, she will have over 110,000 miles on her 2014! That bike should be in the museum! It has been amazingly reliable, and a fantastic machine. I have to compliment BRP. This thing is great! Since I do most of the maintenance, it has been a joy to travel with. Stuff breaks and wears out, but not a big deal. Almost Honda reliability! That says a lot! I an incredibly proud of her, and think there is no better ambassador for the brand. This machine has changed her life, for the better! Hope to see everyone at the event! Joe

Rochester is my neck of the woods. I wish I had known I'd have met you guys for dinner at least. Been having fun following your posts about the events. Safe riding, little rain this morning, but I'm certain you've had that before.

    Default Temporary delay

Left ny, stopped in Ohio for lunch; discovered my worn tire was ruined....showing cord! Found a Honda shop with a tire that fits. Waiting on install. Minor delay. 600 to go! Dinner will be late!

Ann's bike was overheating, BRP tech center said replace them. They grabbed new ones off the line! I was kinda hoping for a new bike....

Was it indicating an overheating situation via the temp gauge?

Have you been riding 2-up, or do you have your own ride (2-wheeler)?

Yes, temp gauge shot up. The fins were clogged with dirt, dead bugs, and pollen.
    I ride my KTM.
Stopped in Laport, Iowa. Had a great time with Kyle and crew! Got up and rolled, made north Platt, Nebraska. Bikes running great! Colorado tomorrow!

The couple we rode with are taking the ferry too not sure what day. Too bad you aren't going on the Badger from Ludington to Manitowoc it is really cool and the riding is much better up there.

    Default Yep

Ann we were going to take that one but it didn't leave until 1:00 in the afternoon and that would have been too late. This ferry was awesome! Highly recommend it. Only 2.5 hours across the lake and the accommodations were very luxurious!IMG_0292.jpgIMG_0299.jpg

    Default Sweet!

That thing is so fast it pulled the entire UW waterski team! Smooth ride, too! I took it in 08.
we arrived home at 1630 today. 7850 miles, the last 500 hot and brutally windy. The worst of the lot! Bikes are bug encrusted, dirty, and need oil changes and tires! Running like Swiss watches! Sheepskin seat covers saved our butts! Thank you, Misty Mountain Sheepskin! So glad to be home, but so glad to have gone! Now to Square Away a friend in town, and prep for the Heart of Washington, next week!!!
