Diamond R Armrest

The consensus seems to be that the Diamond R armrests are a good quality and proven over time from what I have researched.
I had 2 questions though, the link below shows the tubular style and it says they are available in black powder coat but I can find a pic or link?
Second question is about adjustment, is the overall height of the armrest pad adjustable?

I spent a lot on their arm rests, chromed and spyder themed, and cup holders w/cups, also chromed and spyder themed. I like the way the look. However, since they do not lock in place, I took them off after the first ride. They would splay outwards from the seat. Finally had to tie them together until I got home. That was a year and a half ago.

They did state on their website site that the would not lock in place. In hindsight I should have drilled a couple of small holes through them and inserted cotter keys.

You can adjust the height by moving the arms either above, or below the mounting bracket.
As far as not locking: pure safety issue! If your passenger had to bail off the bike... and couldn't????
Just tighten them down a bit more, and they'll stay in place a bit better.
Or since you have the chrome ones: do you want to sell them?

These were the first farkle on our RTS. The arm rests were easy to install are very sturdy. If you tighten up the nuts
under the the arms they will stay in place when you ride without a passenger. They have nylon washers between the fittings. We got the black with the designs cut into them. Sorry have no information about them not contacting you
but I had a very easy purchase on line and shipped quickly. Sorry no pictures. Bob
