Plenty of information in previous posts here but I would start at your dealership to get information and price

    Default Warranty

We just purchased the B.E.S.T. BRP 3yr extended warranty from Bert's Mega Mall in California. Got it for a little over $700 when our local dealer was charging $1200. We dealt with Bert's completely over the phone and online, since we're on opposite ends of the country. They were easy to work with and we couldn't beat their price.
We were surprised to find different prices from different dealers for the exact same warranty.

SpyderBears is correct, and here's their phone number, and internet home page:

Bert's is the least expensive for the BRP BEST warranty.

Our extended warranty is through Western Service Contract. You might give them a call and see what they offer. 1-800-543-5225.

Post #3 and the information about Berts. I would give the dealer a try also--most are stuck in the "we need more money" mode though. Markup is high on extended warranties--so there is quite a bit of dicker room on that. Go with BEST though. Other warranties are usually not as good.

Now, will all Can Am Spyder dealers accept the B.E.S.T. 3 year warranty across the USA, or only your dealer. I noticed you purchased it by phone from a dealer that is far away from you! Is this a ok thing to do, or do we need to buy a warranty from a dealer close to home? Is the B.E.S.T. a three year BRP warranty that starts after your two year factory warranty runs out? Most extended warranty require you to purchase them before your factory warranty runs out!! Thanks for your replies!

Yes. BRP dealers accept it. Must be bought while you are still under warranty. I've been looking myself. The question I have is how long can you keep in under a best warranty by buying extensions? I think I heard a total of 5 years but not sure.

Does the extended warranty start when the factory warranty ends? I bought my bike 1 1/2 months ago?

Anyone aware of the extended warranties being offered up here in Canada other than by BRP? If so Who?

True. BUTTTTTTTT... it only kicks OUT on the same machine it was bought for! If you trade or sell before it ends, you get no refund, so be sure to includes its remaining value when you sell. I got only one-half of the pro-rated value remaining when I traded up. The new buyer of my old machine got the rest.

    Default Extended warranty

Have a 2014 RTS SE6 with BRP extended warranty until July 2017. Started calling around and found Century warranty for 60 months from Pitbull for $848 total dollars. Called more than 6 different BRP dealers and got pricing from $600 to over $1200 for two more years. Century covers everything that BRP does. Just letting everyone know.

Is that 60 months total, 2 years factory, and 3 B.E.S.T extended?

I got my 3yr for my '12 from Berts. Can't purchase Best in Fl, but the local dealer does accept Best. Had to use it one time and it paid for itself. Considering getting one for my '16. Do you thing I'd need it? Dale

Although BEST was a good investment on both my 09 RS and 12 RT, for my 17 F3, I chose to go with a Zurich 72 month agreement. It was less than BEST, is longer and runs concurrent with BRO 2 year warranty. Reviews were, overall, good. Time will tell.
