Thank you Squared Away for helping me at SpyderFest
Yesterday morning I found about an inch of water in my frunk. I removed the small drain plug at the bottom to get rid of the free water. Went to the vendor village for an appointment and was talking with Joe and Anne at their booth.
He he suggested I check the fuse covers, which I had. Then I mentioned the battery cover had given me some issues before I left on the trip. Turns out I hadn't set the battery correctly and the cover had a gap. Joe said there is a slight vacuum in the frunk when underway and that was most likely the cause of the water.
Despite having worked all all day on alignments they helped me for nearly an hour to get the battery set correctly and buttoned up. Thank you Squared Away for going above and beyond!
I did learn that Oak Heart Rum is a preferred thank you for Joe. Got one of the last bottles in the local store last night.

I second that!
I agree! I talked to a lady at their booth yesterday (who I believe to be Ann). She was very helpful and answered my questions about my bike. I tried to wait until they were not as busy to ask my questions but she noticed I was standing around and she asked if she could help me. Ann then made me feel like she had all the time in the world to answer any of my questions! What makes this story even better was I was asking about changes to my bike after I had replaced my rear tire and if that could affect someone else's alignment work on my bike. I appreciate her thoughtful and caring attitude towards me and my concerns.

Our pleasure!
We love helping people! We love to ride, and anything we can do to help others love to ride, we do! Ann breaks stuff. A lot! So, I learned to fix it. She is learning, too! After 7 years and nearly 200,000 miles, she has learned a lot! We have met so many nice people, and it has been so much fun! Thanks for the kind words! Joe
