    Default 2013 RT Coolant

After removing the access panel it's easy enough to see but awkward to remove the coolant reservoir cap, but I'll be darned if I can see any level marks or the fluid level itself. What do you have to do? Put a light bulb down in the tank?

Not having any coolant problems but just doing a routine check before leaving on a trip.

    Thanks.

    Arrow Suggestion

Shine the light from one side and look at the other.

    Default Coolant

If you indirectly illuminate the plastic canister from below, can usually see the level easier.

If you haven't changed your coolant I believe the manual calls for 14k or two years for changing

Got the bike used a few months ago. Coolant about a year old based on maintenance records, heat recall done.

    Default Here's what I do...

The best way is to move the spyder so the liquid moves. It is easier to see when moving....

Thinking out loud again Wonder if a guy could drop something like a fluorescent ping pong ball in there? Wouldn't think it would harm anything. Once the tank is empty, it's empty, so it wouldn't plug anything up. And there's ample floating room(I think)if it's at the full mark. Ah, just thinking out loud.
