Highway Speeds
Well I rode the interstate for the first time today. I have had my F3T for about two months and have about 525 miles now. It rode real smooth until I got to about 70mph and then it felt like it was vibrating a bit. Is this normal?

That would be harmonic vibration from the belt. If yours wasn't delivered with the belt tensioner already on it I'd go back to the dealer and ask them to add it for you.

I came from a Valkyrie (flat Six no vibration) to the Spyder. Its normal. My F3-T sounds like a box of rocks and the vibration is something to just ignore. My vibration finally went away at 5,000 miles or I just don't notice it any more. If it stops running you got something to worry about, just enjoy the ride. Get a set of Elka shocks, world of difference in handling well worth the price of Stage 3.

I mounted one of Doc's stabilizers, and it put an end to the harmonic vibration that I used to feel at highway speeds.

OEM is a good (cheap) fix
Had the Can-Am belt tensioner installed last year and I've forgotten that this used to be a problem (and is was a BAD problem on my F3-S.) It was about $35 plus install. Should have been a recall item but...life goes on.
Definitely get it and you will soon forget you used to have a vibration problem.

yep F3 Limited. Forgot to put that in there. Still a noobie but my dealer seems surprised to hear that there might be a BRP tensioner.

Well wtf. You have the same machine. Your tensioner is a BRP accessory?

Aftermarket parts do not make your warranty void. The dealer has the burden of proving whatever part you added caused the problem that needs the warranty work. In the case that they can show the added part caused the problem, that and only that claim can be denied.

Doc's is the best, and I have had both.
Have both the BRP one, that did very little and one of Doc's stabilizers, just added about 1k miles ago and it put an end to the harmonic vibration at highway speeds. And it's cheaper. Great Indiana engineering.
