    Default Saddlebag Size

I had a quick question, I am interested in getting some saddlebags and was wondering if these http://www.jpcycles.com/product/405-720 would be to large and look goofy. Also do I need any other hardware to install these, such as brackets or the like? Oh and I have a F3-S Special Series.

I just bought a set of " Mutaza " hard bags , they have LED's built in , come with mounting brackets , are re-movable, have carry handles, have locks , are 33 liters each ( RT is 25 liters ) and imho ( and others ) look fantastic ...... also have easy to re-move panels for custom painting ....... Jim Von Baden has them and did and a great write up with lots of Pics..... another member here has mounted them on His F-3 ....... I paid $299, right now they are on sale for $269 ....... delivered from E-bay item # 231854436544 ...... take a look this doesn't cost anything........ Mike ............. Heads up .... another member here just posted an issue He had with these bags so go find it and see what He said !!!!!!!

Welcome back, Mike. I am still partial to my 30mm ammo cans and my wife's Moose Racing panniers.

I used Easy Brackets for the mounting and the Leatherworks 120 bags. SpyderPops sells this set up at quite a fair price when you factor in shipping. I've since custom fabricated a different mounting system and have the Easy Brackets for sale (shameless plug). See my thread on the mods I recently completed.

I really like the Shad hard case side bags on my F3. Probably a little pricier than most soft case bags, but they're pretty stout, lockable, and removable off the bike when you don't need them.

I, too, have the F3S SS.

Default dirtnapper's bags are nice for the price... but

Nice saddlebags for the price but will they be secured to the bike by themselves. They look like their mainly for a two wheel bike unless you can come up hangers or brackets to hold them in place. Those "Easy Brackets" suggested by someone seems a bit overkill for what your wanting unless your thinking of carrying leaded blocks or 150lbs in each bag. I would check around for something a little less expensive. There is a good post from ca8920 on 6-16-2015 about his Viking (hard shell) saddlebags for a fraction of the cost and no need for overkill brackets.
