Default Air In - Frustration out.

Just arrived, and just tested. This Air Chuck is adjustable in any and all directions, and makes getting air into the rear tire - so easy.

    Hi Many brands,

Re: makes getting air into the rear tire - so easy.

Last week I used my newly-purchased Lamonster-Approved Air Pack. It took a minute or two or three to get it on the rear tire valve. But that Lamonster-Approved device is one sweet way to inflate tires. I'm sticking with it.

PS) One thing I don't care for with the Air Pack is that it is easy to change the values; from PSI to Atmospheres, etc. Once I learned to keep my fingers off of 'that' switch, it was easy to understand & use.

    It's a pretty sweet rig!

The Lamonster device is super easy on the rear tire, especially if the valve stem is in the right spot. Jerry my first time on the RT took some finagling, but the second time was seconds. The F3 is a piece of cake. Love this device!

    Default Lamonster's

It is a very nice piece and works as advertised. However, I can't seem to un-screw the cap from the valve stem before a couple of pounds of air is lost. I guess I'm not very fast. It needs a clamp on piece instead of a screw on IMHO.

What's the secret? Is there a fitting that would screw on the end of the little tube that converts it to a straight clamp on.

I don't know how to stop that air loss; it was my biggest worry as well...
Perhaps some practice with will help!

I found that the air loss was less than a pound, so I just set the unit to one pound more than I had planned.

The kit now comes with a 90 degree clamp-on and a straight screw-on. The 90 won't work on the rear. You can add more air to compensate for what you lose or just get better at it.

    Hi Lamont,

Re: The 90 won't work on the rear.

The 90* clamp-on worked just fine on the rear for me.

As I said, it does take a minute or two or three to get used to using it; and positioning the rear valve 'just so.'

I haven't tried it on the RT but the bigger pulley is in the way on the F3. Glad it worked for you.

I just purchased the Lamoster air pump. It came with 2 hoses but I have yet to figure out a way to get that short hose to the rear tire on my F3. I also cannot figure out how to tell how charge the devices is.

    Hi Lamont,

Re: Glad it worked for you.

Hey, that makes two of us.

Not every product that I buy works as good as this Air Pack does.

Harley has a short air hose extension for use with their Electra Glide Ultras. Put that on the Lamonster compressor and then use that to connect to the valve on the Spyder and you wont lose any air.
