rear fender removal on Syder rs-s
basically just 3 metric star screw on each side just need to be removed
on the opposite end of each screw there is a lock nut holding it in place
so if you try to just turn the screw, the lock nut will turn with the screw
the way i managed to do it, was i used my "J&S Jacks" and jacked the bike up to about 16 inches
then i layed down on a trolley, pushed myself under the bike, and with one hand held the lock nut in place with the monkey wrench and used the other hand to turn the screw..
all in all... took me about 2 hours.

If your going to keep the lower belt guard look for the OEM cover piece from an RT. It covers the hole between the guard and swingarm that was once occupied by the fender mount.

Simple enough....
so what did you do with the wiring to the license plate light ...and where did you mount the license plate...?? does enhance the view of the rear tire....

in my opinion - the bike looks a hell of a lot better with the rear fender removed..
you can just use 2 zipties and use them to ziptie the wires to the swingarm
to see what i did with the liscence plate..... loook at my thread --->http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...on-Spyder-rs-s
