    Default Swaybar

I bought my 2012 RTL used and at the time I bought it didn't know some of the questions I should have ask about bike. Although whoever had bike before me added a number of things that I didn't know at the time were not stock. On this forum I have seen a lot of information about how the BajaRon sway bar improves handling. Thinking about getting sway bar, but before I do would like to know, is there a way of telling if the sway bar on the bike now is stock bar or after market bar? Would appreciate any help you can provide.
    Thanks

Take a 5/8" open end wrench. Find a straight part of the bar (anywhere will do as long as it is straight). Try to put the open end of the wrench over the bar. If it goes over the bar it's OEM. If it does not, it's the upgraded bar.

    Good luck!

And if you do find you have the upgraded bar, look at the Heim links at the ends of the bar. If they are metal, you're golden! If they are plastic, you might want to consider upgrading them to metal ones.

Ron can hook you up with them as well.
