Default Mirrors too low for me

The mirrors on my 2017 RT are too low for me to see without shifting my head down. I would like to add some mirrors that are higher than the handle bars. Has anyone done this?

I think that PMK figured out some alternate mirrors for his RT...

Not that this is a replacement, but maybe in addition to the mirrors on the bike:

    Default Don't know. ..!!

There are those bar mounted mirrors they are using on the F3's that could be used/adapted. There are bar end mirrors that could help you as well. there is also those 180° center mounted mirrors...

PMK can reply but his replacement mirrors are in same location, so wouldn't affect height. How about THIS? I've been thinking of getting myself.

I had one. It let me see my armpits; of course I had up and outs installed with the stock mirrors. But, to be fair, I had a GS, and know nothing of RT's.

Yes I have, but all the mounting parts were handmade one offs.

I made the change to open up the front veiw to be more moto and less obstructing the front wheels. In the process, the mirrors I used have built in rear turn signals.

The other issue that always bothered me was the mirrors had play. Even with new clips and more they were never a so,id mount. The recent magnet mount kits had me consider going back to stock, but I realized during a ride, I prefer the more open veiw.

Yes, my mirrors are similar in height to oem. I never needed to test them to the extreme adjustments, but I di beleive the mirrors will tilt more in a vertical plane than stock. Horizontally they are easily more than stock.

They are great for seeing what is in your blind spot but they don't replace your regular mirrors.

I modified a pair of bar end mirrors. The only drawback is if you have big hands, the mirrors may get in the way.

Do you have these or is this a web site photo? I would think vibration would be a problem. The windshield vibrates quite a bit.
