    Default First oil change.

Did my first oil change today on my F3.
Easiest oil change on a Spyder I've ever done.
Took me 40 minutes and I was taking my time.
I did have the covers off already though, so getting at the oil filter was simple.
No need to move the master brake stuff and a 36mm socket on a standard socked wrench fit just fine... no need to buy any special wrenches online.
SM5 took just a tad over 5 quarts.

    Default Sweet!

Dan, did you upgrade the drainplugs?
What a nice change for the better! Like a regular, non-tupperwared bike! Almost! Still, so much easier!

Yes... I put some Gold plugs in despite problems I had with the company. I ordered Gold Plugs back in November and still didn't have them. They never returned calls or emails, etc.
I had bought it issuing Amazon credit so I had Amazon finally give me a refund.
I didn't want to go with Dimple due to some of the problems I've heard about them cracking.
So I went on eBay and ordered them this time and they showed up in 3 days... go figure.
I hate the BRP plugs. The Gold ones seem really nice.
