Just a heads up if your first time spyderfest or Springfield
We'll I was talking plans with potential ryding partner & I remembered my first trip to Springfield for spyderfest & had a shocking education on something called a "Diverging Diamond" intersection Was quite different for this redneck & could equally be confusing for others happy rookies So here is a vid I found that may help. But the best thing is to give yourself enough spare time so you can keep safe & enjoy the fest fyi I believe there were total of 3 scattered all about town atleast along the passport locations.¿

This is a GREAT post for all to take a look at.. I am not a huge fan of these intersections however they seem to work well.. Be careful while in Springfield and pay a bit of attention the first time you encounter one of these intersections, once you have drove it a couple times it will all make since --- Well maybe..

Actually there are now six of these interchanges in the Springfield area. They are a little strange the first time going through one of these. However, you never have to turn left or right onto a highway entrance in front of oncoming traffic which is safer and makes traffic flow better. The only problem with these interchanges is they would be very difficult to traverse in areas that get a lot of snow.

I'm not a fan of them either because they are just unusual and I don't encounter them much. I'd prefer a round-about. But they say they're safer at intersections where one by-way has entrance ramps; you don't have to cross traffic so much.
They've put one in in my town recently where there have been frequent accidents. I hope it will help.

Just completed one last summer in our area seemed to help at a very busy intersection.

When I was there it seemed like I was in Italy trying to follow a bowl full of "Spaghetti". I think they are
dangerous. (not to mention confusing)
