Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

Part of the reason the Spyder tires are marked as for "motorcycles" when they clearly are not, is that this designation allows them to bypass testing and rating laws that apply to automobile tires. Saving money for Kenda and thereby BRP.

Oh my
How many fallacies
There is no orders from BRP
There are no laws against it.
BRP dealer mounted my Yokohama s Dive purchased on amazon no problem.
I did sign a paper notifying that I understood it was not original equipment

Oh the things that some mechanics will say!
I've got a "deadly car tire" in the form of a Kumho Ecsta AST in a P225/50R15 queued up and ready to go when I've finally torched through the OEM rear Kenda on my F3.

I has 2 Firestone tire exploded on my Ford Probe some years ago. I never few out the windshield. But i have never bought Firestone tires since that happened. They were defective tires per the MFG but I still had to pay for new ones. They took no responsibility for the defect. car tires are they way to go. The rims are made to sup[port auto tires and as far a "blowing up"? You will never even get close to the load bearing ratings that could damage one. So that so called, Tire salesman is NOT!

Change of subject please. I note you have an Akropovic muffler with cat delete pipe. What is the sound level and the tone. There are a couple of youtube videos of that setup and they sound good. I don't know if it's a crap microphone or what but they did sound good. I had a cat delete pipe installed at Pittbull and a couple of months later, had the Akropovic muffler sent to me. It came without baffles. I was told none were available. I regrettably returned it as it was incredibly loud and annoying, not unlike my neighbor's kids' dirt bike. I wanted the mellow sound. Why did the one I got sound so badly? Is there a trick?

You would probably get a better response by starting a new thread, not highjacking this one.

car tire
Bet you wen to the CAN AM shop on I 10 north of S.A. He told me the same thing last year. I took a car tire to Woods in San Marcus and they installed it no sweat. I am in Fredericksburg and the one on I 10 is 30 miles closer for me. I now ride to Woods. The guy that told you that said the Kenda had no steel belts in it? That's what he told me, he has not looked at the rear tire and read the components. The front Kendas do not have steel in them (on my 2012) but the OEM rear di and wore out at 8500 miles. got 15000 on a car tire and cannot tell it is not new.!!!!

That sounds like the guy. Guess I should head to woods after this. He's just so close to me!
