    Default My guide to Audiovox Cruise Control Installation

    Thanks to forum members across multi forums for posting their pictures and sharing information... I used the following pictures as a guide to install my Audiovox cruise control..

    For servo and vacuum canister location:


    For Control Panel mounting..


    For cable to throttle hookup..


    For the vacuum hookup...







    For the wiring....





    This the picture I used for the coil hookup..

    Thanks for the pics.
    I've got an Audiovox electric version on the way but I suspect that many of the connections other than vacume are the same.
    A member of the rabble in good standing.

    Which cruise controll are you using? the cs-100
    2008 SM5, F1 EvoIII slide, Hindle, Race Air Flow System, O2 Delete, Fuel Pressure Modfier, Powerbus System, BRP 6 Spoke, 12V power supply x2, 1" Handel Bar Riser, CompuStar Alarm System w/pager, Mono Seat Cover, Brake Caliper Trim, Trunk Liner, Outdoor Cover, Carbon Fiber SM5 Handelbar Inserts, Carbon Fiber Tank Knee Pads, TBR Juice Box.

    Default ccs-100 install

    Hamie or Lamont, On the wirering diagram., does the gray wire comeing out of the contol box, also go to a switched 12v, as the red ??

    I think so, I believe it was Lamonster even. The controller was NOT enviromentally sound if I remember right, seems as though water shorted it out 2 or more times.

    Lon, my throttle hook-up. THe cable is held in place by a cable tie and works perfectly.

    OK, guys... how about everyone posting pictures of how they mounted the control switch for their control. I'm sure there are a lot of good ideas out there. Also, would someone post the dip switch setting for the electronic audiovox cruise control that you found most appropriate? thanks

    How about a close-up of that mount. Can't see how it attaches. Aluminum?

    I'd have to get my son to do the pic thingy. It has a right angle bend at the top and is attached with existing bolt on the controls. It's stainless steel (scrap from his work) but aluminium would be just as good. Having it located there I don't need to let go of the bar as it's just a thumb stretch away.
