    Default Heated gear electrical outlets

Hi all, just wondering how you mounted/installed your heated gear connections. I have #12 fused wire (red and black) already connected from the battery to the trailer isolator. On the way to the back, I Posi-tapped the Wolo horn (fused) now just wondering if I could also Posi-tap the fused Warm and Safe gear connections as well for me and the Mrs. I'll also need to install a higher amperage fuse at the battery take-off. Any pic's or ideas?

Heated gear should be hooked up directly to the battery. Read the instructions.

    Default Heated gear

Both my wife and I have extended plugs for our heated gear. Have a 2014 RTS and ran two plugs directly from the battery. She uses hers all the time. I use my tap for charging the battery when not in use. Hope this helps.

I ran my gear wires to the charging posts. Effectively this is the battery, and easy access. You need to put a fuse on the line as well.
