Default Come Sail Away Come Sail Away With Me - Man am I stupid

Checked my fluids this weekend but for some reason did not get my Access Cover down tight on my F3. Jumped on the highway and the wind got under it and off it sailed into a 4 lane freeway.

    $140.00 dollar mistake

    Damn it Jim!!!

If our lives came with erasers...

...They would STILL be as messy as ever!

At least you know why it happened, and it'll never happen again.

I only posted so that others can learn from my mistake. No matter how many times you have lifted those panels for any reason, always recheck them before you jump on the Spyder for any trip.

Default yep, pay attention to the front tabs

I did the same thing somewhere along the way to/from Deadwood, SD last year. We're flying along at 85mph somewhere in WY and I see the front end of the panel lifting up and kind of flapping. Luckily I noticed it and pulled over and got it tabbed in properly before it totally went flying. Sorry yours took a trip. I didn't realize that could even happen. Glad you're back in business and thanks for warning others.
